FAQ's about Vaping
1. What is vaping?
Electronic cigarettes, also known as e-cigarettes, vapes, or vapor products, offer an alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes. These devices function by converting a liquid, known as e-liquid, into an aerosol through heating.
Here’s how it works:

Battery Activation: When the user activates the e-cigarette, the device's battery sends an electric current to a wire coil.

Heating the Coil: The coil is wrapped around wicking material soaked in e-liquid. As the current flows, the coil heats up.

Creating Aerosol: Once the coil reaches a certain temperature, it heats the e-liquid, turning it into an aerosol (commonly called vapor).

Inhalation: The user then inhales the aerosol.
This process allows users to inhale vapor instead of smoke, providing a different experience from traditional smoking.
2. Are electronic cigarettes safer than regular cigarettes?
While the Food and Drug Administration does not consider the health risks or benefits of vapor products, according to an extensive report published by the Royal College of Physicians, "e-cigarette use is unlikely to exceed 5% of the harm from smoking tobacco." Feel free to read more here.
3. Do nicotine vapor products cause health problems?
While research is being conducted frequently, we do not know all of the health benefits or effects from vapor products. What we do know is that:
1. Nicotine vapor products do not cause E-cigarette, or vaping associated lung injuries (EVALI). While the name sounds as if it were to be implied, both the FDA and CDC have concluded that the vast majority of cases werelinked to tainted THC vapor products. Read more here.
2. Vapor products do not cause popcorn lung. Most vapor products do not contain diacetyl, the chemical responsible for causing popcorn lung. In fact, cigarettes contain more diacetyl than any tested vapor products. Read more here.
4. How do I choose the right vapor products?
There are a lot of considerations when it comes to investing into your vapor products. Size of the device, nicotine level you wish to use and where you desire to end up, ease of use, and budget. We offer plenty of products to assist all customers at various levels of vapor products. If you are just starting off, we recommend looking at our pod system kits, and for those looking for more power, we suggest looking at our box mods and box mod kits!
5. How do I choose the right nicotine level?
We offer a wide array of nicotine levels, ranging from 0mg all the way to 55mg! Every person is different, as well as every device. Certain devices (such as pod system kits) can utilize premium e-liquid or salt nicotine e-liquid, where box mods can only use premium e-liquid. This is to prevent nicotine overdosing. It is strongly recommended to use salt n nicotine e-liquid only in pod system devices with wattage set less than 30 watts. Our friendly staff would be happy to assist you in deciding on what device and nicotine level would work best for you!
6. My device is leaking and/or tastes gross! What do I do?
Experiencing a burnt taste or leaking while vaping can be frustrating. Here are some tips to address both issues:

Change Your Coil/Pod: To avoid a burnt taste and reduce leaking, replace your coil or pod every 2 to 3 weeks. If you notice a burnt taste sooner, change it immediately. Continuing to vape on a burnt coil or pod can affect your experience.

Avoid Extreme Heat: Keep your device away from extreme heat. High temperatures can thin the e-liquid, increasing the likelihood of leaks.

Check Seals: Ensure that the seals on your pods and tanks are intact. Worn-out seals can cause leaks, so replace them if necessary.

Monitor E-liquid Sweetness: Sweeter and darker e-liquids can burn out coils faster due to the sugars and oxidation. Be mindful of this to avoid frequent replacements.

Understand Manufacturing Variances: Occasionally, manufacturing defects can occur, leading to faulty coils or pods. While we can't offer warranties for such issues, purchasing a new coil or pod will typically resolve the problem.

1. Where are you located?
We are located at 9385 State Route 30, Irwin, PA 15642.
Our storefront is in the Irwin Plaza, right off of Route 30, next to Julie's Bubble Tea & Smoothies and Back to Your Best Massage Therapy. We are minutes away from the Pennsylvania Turnpike!
2. What are your hours?
We are open from 11am to 8pm Monday through Saturday. We are currently closed on Sundays. We apologize for the inconvenience.
3. Do you offer curbside pickup?
We do! We ask that you call us at (724) 515-2039 to place your order ahead of time! We are able to accept debit and credit payments for curbside pickup.
4. Can I bring my child(ren) in with me?
Due to federal laws and regulations, we ask that you refrain from bringing your child(ren) into our storefront. You must be 21 years of age or older with valid government ID to enter the storefront.
5. Do I have to have my ID with me?
Yes! It is required by federal law to have a valid government ID with you for age verification purposes. We are legally allowed to accept the following government IDs:
-Valid Drivers's License
-Valid State ID
-Current passport
6. Are there any exceptions for the age regulation?
Currently, you are required to be 21 years of age or older with valid government ID to purchase nicotine products in the United States. There are no exceptions to this rule.
7. What payments does Palm Beach Vapors accept?
​We accept cash, credit, debit, Apple pay, Google pay, Samsung pay, and other tap-to-pay services. We do not accept checks or money orders.
